About the Course
This one day workshop will use a mix of improv techniques and exercises, along with writing exercises and assignments to craft a 2 page overview of a comedic TV show or movie. This is a great class for beginners or advanced students to take a half-formed idea, or start with no idea at all, and emerge with a clear concept, characters and the building blocks of a compelling story. This class offers improvisers a method to form ideas into a film/TV story and writers a method of story creation and development that is more active, quick and social than simply sitting alone in front of a laptop tearing one’s hair out!
